HAIR LASER REMOVAL

unwanted hair is no longer a big problem with the laser technology. We can remove  hair using a laser — an intense, pulsating beam of light . During the process of the hair laser removal , a laser beam passes through the skin to an individual hair follicle. The intense heat of the laser damages the hair follicle, which inhibits future hair growth.

This method is recommended and most effective for people who have light skin and dark hair. Although this  may result in slow hair growth, it doesn't guarantee permanent hair removal. It is because some hair may be resistant to laser treatment and it may cause some hair to grow again after treatment. Therefore periodic maintenance treatments may be needed since typically it takes several hair laser removal treatments to provide an extended hair-free period.

Hair laser removal is not risk-free. The most common side effects after  using that method :

  • Skin irritation. Temporary irritation, crusting or scabbing .
  • Pigment changes. The affected skin  may darken or lighten , usually temporarily. For those with darker skin, skin lightening may happen, especially caused by an incorrect laser used at an incorrect setting.
  • Bistering, scarring or other changes in skin texture (rarely happen).
Knowing the risks that may happen above, think carefully before making the decision to have hair laser removal treatment.
